(3) In the Court of First Instance (CFI), the following may be pleaded as offences under this Chapter: –
(i) causing or permitting the loss of a vehicle or motor vehicle;
(ii) delaying a police officer in the discharge of his duty, or by any other means, intentionally obstructing a person in the exercise of his rights under this Chapter;
(iii) disobeying any lawful order, direction or instruction of a police officer;
(iv) evading arrest;
(v) assaulting a police officer;
(vi) or desertion of the Army.
(4) Any person guilty of any offence under this Chapter shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to three years, and fine which may extend to .
In the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 the following are defined as contempt of court. Vol. ________. para.
